On May 8th, 2018, we unveiled our company, Recycled Sounds, to the startup and tech community here in Kamloops, British Columbia. With assistance from the Kamloops Innovation Centre and Joy Factory Films, our first ever business pitch was a huge success. It took a lot of work to get to this point as we’ve spent the past sixteen weeks brainstorming and creating a product that was not only feasible but profitable.
We presented our business pitch to a room full of people. We were nervous but also very excited. We each talked about different aspects of Recycled Sounds. For example, Alia introduced our business concept and idea, Rohkeya talked about the importance of incorporating STEM aspects into Recycled Sounds, Sarah really sold the idea of using one of our products, and Tasia informed our listeners how they could reach us and home a Recycled Sounds for themselves.
After our presentation, we celebrated with delicious cupcakes. We were thrilled to have not only our very sale take place on this day, but many, many others. We have a list of customized orders to fill.
This was such an exhilarating day that we will never forget as CEOs of our first company.
